USOC leader Blackmun mixes business with IOC displeasure
Less than two weeks after reporting for duty, Blackmun is in Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics, meeting and greeting the International Olympic Committee members who unceremoniously ousted Chicago in the voting for the 2016 Summer Games host last fall, then partly blamed it on the USOC’s strained relations with the IOC.
