MOSCOW – The Russian Hockey Federation published a candidate list for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver containing 50 names. The list includes 19 NHL players – nearly every Russian who plays in the league – and 31 players from the Russian KHL

ZURICH – The first round of the 2009-2010 European Women’s Champions Cup was played last weekend. The winners of the four tournaments advance to the next round. Group A in Salzburg German champion OSC Berlin travelled to Salzburg at the Austrian-German border for the first game against host team Ravens Salzburg.
