Ammann wins record 4th ski jump gold

Simon Ammann of Switzerland won the men’s individual long hill competition Saturday afternoon at Whistler Olympic Park to become the first-ever ski jumper to win four gold medals at the Winter Games.

Veronika Bauer, coming back after a year of concussion and knee problems, failed to qualify on Saturday for next week’s final in freestyle aerials at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
