White Is Said to Be O.K.; Snowboard Cross Athlete Is Injured

A spokeswoman for Shaun White’s snowboard sponsor, Burton, said White had experienced no ill effects from striking his head on the lip of the halfpipe Friday night during practice at the Winter X Games.

Canucks’ top line steals spotlight in 3rd

In just under 200 days, on 14th August 2010, Singapore will open its doors to 3,600 of the world’s best young athletes for the first summer edition of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG). To celebrate the countdown, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has launched the visual identity of the Youth Olympic Games – “YOG-DNA”.
